Turned out awesome! I added semi-sweet chocolate chips and cut the sugar back to 1/2 cup. It does make quite a bit of batter, so I had enough for a mini loaf in addition to the pan listed in the recipe.

I have made this serveral times. My husband is always happy to see it’s been made, sorry to see the last piece. He’s the only one who eats it and it never has a chance to go bad.
This ALWAYS bakes up great for me. Posted to my social media account the last time I made this and had numerous request. Love the tartness of the cranberries. No matter you skill level with baking, anyone can do this and it will bake up great!
I have made this bread numerous times, all with excellent results! The banana adds sweetness and moisture. A great way to use those bananas in the freezer! I typically don't have nuts on hand, but this bread is so delicious...it stands well on its own.
I DO add vanilla and/or almond extract.
For variation, I have topped with a powdered sugar glaze with added lemon or orange zest!

I have used this recipe many times and put the batter in muffin tins and then adjusted the time in the oven. It is excellent with a good cup of coffee in the morning. 5 stars *****
