Ingredients:

1 large, flat platter or 12 to 16-inch mirror
Assorted fresh fall leaves
Assorted pumpkins, gourds, nuts, pinecones, acorns or other harvest fruits.
1 large pillar candle
1 12-oz. bag Ocean Spray® Fresh Cranberries

Directions:

Place a platter or a 12 to 16-inch framed or unframed mirror on the table. Scatter the leaves on the mirror and place candle on top. Arrange pumpkins, gourds and assorted fruits and nuts around candle. Sprinkle Ocean Spray® Fresh Cranberries around fruits and candle.

Discard berries and other fruit when they become soft, which can range from a few days to a week.

*Tip: Gather brightly colored leaves and press between paper towels or newspaper until dry. If colored leaves are not available, you can use dried or silk leaves instead.

Variations:

Instead of large candles, you can use a few votive candles in glass containers, along with pumpkins, gourds, whole nuts and fruit such as apples and cranberries.

Fill a large glass bowl with fresh fruit such as apples and oranges. Sprinkle with unshelled nuts, fresh cranberries and clusters of dried flowers. Wrap a wide fall-colored ribbon and raffia around the bowl and tie into a bow. Tuck two or three long cinnamon sticks and sheaves of wheat into the ribbon.

Arrange colorful ears of dried corn, fresh squash and gourds on a tray. Sprinkle with unshelled nuts and fresh cranberries. Tuck dried flowers and small bunches of wheat sheaves, tied with ribbon or raffia, around and among the vegetables.

This is a very easy and colorful centerpiece to make. You can do a large one for the center of a dining room table or small ones to set on sidetables in living room, dining room,or kitchen counters. The possibilities and color combinations are endless.
