Smiling Pumpkin Place Cards

  • Smiling Pumpkin Place Cards

Ingredients:

Small pumpkins or gourds
Card stock, cut into small pieces
Marking pens
Colored markers or craft paint
Sharp knife

Directions:

Cut a slit across the top of miniature pumpkins in front of the stems (adults should do this step before the kids decorate the pumpkins or assemble the cards).

Decorate each pumpkin by drawing faces or designs with craft paint or colored markers. Let dry.

Write the name of each guest on a small card. To assemble, simply place a card it in the slit of each pumpkin (the stem in the back will help hold the card in place.)

I love to put out little things to decorate the season. Putting a smile on a little pumpkin with a WELCOME card has put a smile on every guests face. Now surround it with smiling gourds and it a festive fall welcome group!
