These cookies are easy enough for a novice baker to make successfully. They are moist, chewy and delicious. My family always asks for "2 batches please Mom".
I made these for my husband's coworker's last year. For a twist, I drizzled with melted chocolate. They were gone in minutes and were at the top of the request list for this year!

Will these cookies freeze well? I can only make them at this time, if they can be frozen. They sound great.
I CHANGED IT A BIT. I ADDED DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS TOT HE RECIPE. STILL MELTED THE MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS, BUT WHEN BLENDING ALL TOGETHER, I STIRRED IN THE DARK CHOCOLATE. MY HUSBAND, WHO HATE CRANBERRIES AND IS NOT A FAN OF DARK CHOCOLATE ATE THEM UP.
I used carob instead of milk chocolate, and I used 2/3 dried blueberries, and 1/3 dried cherries.
