Easy & Awesome!
Family insists I bring this to every event! I store extra cranberries in the freezer for those summer parties. You can use frozen berries, but they sit at the top of the bars...still tastes the same!
Double the recipe in order to use the full bag of berries & 13" pan.
Glass works best as the dark pans seem to darker the bottoms too much
NEVER try to do 2 batches at the same time. These bars need the 100% air flow of the complete oven in order to cook through. (Made this mistake)
Brilliant recipe as is. For celiac and dairy issues, use coconut oil and all purpose gluten free flour - using 1 extra egg. Guar gum or xantham not even necessary.
do you have alternative for Coeliac and dairy intolerant --- swap flour for?? and butter for >>>>
I was looking for a recipe for cranberry bars and I came across this one.
I made them and they are EXCELLENT. I could not stop eating them.
I immediately put the recipe in my recipe box and I will definitely be making them again.
This is a easy great recipe. Sweet, tangy, nutty with a nice texture. Easy and delicious.
