This recipe is one of my favorites. I added nuts and orange zest to the recipe and everyone loved it. It has become one of my favorites. Freezes well, too. I roll them in powdered sugar after baking, then when cooled, roll them once again in powdered sugar.

The only thing I would question is should the flour be sifted before it is measured? I think when I make them next time I am going to try that. Everyone at work wants the recipe!

I plan to use this recipe often. I did have one friend who said they were too buttery but I don't think she realized that that is what shortbread is! :-)
I like them and will share the recipe with my other "baking friends."
