Easy non stew texture crock pot ribs
Cut your rib rack in half. Season with whatever dry rub you desire. Lean the ribs together and fasten with skewers. You can put sauce on now, yet it will fall off. I cook them on hi for 4 hours or low for 6-7. When done, I place in broiler or on grill with sauce to caramelize.
I've made simular recipe with my homemade cranberry BBQ sauce: Boil one cup cranberries as for cranberry sauce, replace sugar with coconut sugar or brown sugar. When all berries pop, add 2 tablespoons molassas, half cup catsup, one teaspoon garlic powder, one half teaspoon liquid smoke, 2 tablespoons mustard (optional). Bring to boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 10 minutes. I have my own dry rub which has powdered smoke. So I needn't add smoke flavour to BBQ sauce.
We love these baby back ribs... restaurant quality!
It was a stewed meat flavor and texture. Very moist but the flavor was very disappointing.
