Don't know what went wrong
Maybe I used the wrong red wine (it was a gift - they made it homemade) or if I overcooked the sauce, but after a while the sauce separated into an oily mixture and red scummy looking stuff that turned out to be quite sticky. I ended up separating them, throwing out the red stuff and using the oily liquid as extra moisture for the meat. What went wrong?
