A Special Part of Christmas
Remember this recipe since the 1940's; when my mom couldn't make it anymore, I gladly took over. I actually had cut the recipe from a bag and inserted it in my cookbook. It truly makes Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner a festive occasion. I am going to make more and freeze some and try a little boost of brandy. I even love it on tuna sandwiches and cottage cheese. Thank you Ocean Spray!
Family favorite and simple to make
This is a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner staple. We make extra and enjoy all week (if it lasts that long). I never use navel oranges (they become bitter if not eaten immediately). Also I've substituted tangerines for the orange and that's been a real plus....even more delicious. I always stay with the lesser amount of sugar and add to taste.
cranberry orange relish
Just so simple and easy; great way to use left over turkey; sandwiches on sourdough bread-YUM
keep it simple
Follow the recipe. It is but with the fewest ingredients.
Yes you can use frozen berries. I also add a couple of tablespoons of orange brandy! I make about four batches of this and give it as a small gift a Christmas , one recipe makes three one cup jars!🤗
