Makes 2 1/4 cups


1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 12-ounce package Ocean Spray® Fresh or Frozen Cranberries, rinsed and drained


Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil; add cranberries, return to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving time.

Makes 2 1/4 cups.

fantastic! came out great.I used 1 cup of my brothers maple syrup,3 tablespoons OJ,and 1 cup of cranberry juice,,,yumm-who would have ever thought it was so easy-sorry I waited so long in life to do it! Will do every year from now on.I grew up next to cranberry bogs in Mass,,wow,so awesome!

Make the recipe according to the package directions. I don't put as much sugar in mine, because I like my cranberry sauce on the tart side. Remove from heat add 1 tsp fresh orange zest, two tablespoons of fresh squeezed orange juice. And three tablespoons of Grand Marnier Liqueur. Because you're adding the Grand Marnier when the sauce is still have the liquor will evaporate only leaving the flavor.

this is a great basic recipe. I love an additional orange flavor so I substitute oj for water, reduce the sugar to 2/3 cup and add 2 teasp of orange peel.
