I have made this recipe for years. I have made it with red seedless grapes in place of craisins, still very tasty. I make the dressing at 1-1/2 times the recommended amount. My family likes a little more dressing as it can tend to be a little "dry". It's just the right amount for their tastes, not too dry and not to soggy or drowning in dressing. It is a wonderful recipe and my family asks for it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wonderful!
Great and love it.
Don't know how anyone cannot love this. Unless you hate one of the ingredients. Combined it is fantastic. Reminds me of a,salad I used to get at a high end restaurant and still easy to make. I hold off on the cheese til a bit later. But even on day two leftover, I love it. Whoever says it's salty and not recommended, I highly disagree with.
Broccoli Cranberry Salad
I read about this salad on this site last year or maybe the year before. I tried it and we absolutely loved it. Since then I have thrown in pecans rather than sunflower seeds and tiny bits of cheese. Everyone who has shared our salad has thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the recipe!
Delicious and crunchy!
I made this for my mom when home on vacation. She's wanted to try something new and this fit the bill. My picky brother told me I could make this again.
This recipe is great but I made a few adjustments; I used a combination for 1/4 cup of honey and 2 tablespoons of sugar instead of the 1/2 cup. Also I used walnuts instead of sunflower seeds and white wine vinegar instead of red just because that's what I had in my pantry. Highly recommend this recipe, it was a big hit at the party ;)
