I also made with regular BBQ sauce and simmered with the cramberry sauce and maple syrup.
Will definitely try again...
I used as sauce/liquid for Slow Cooker Pulled Turkey Breast. Wanted to test out a different way to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. I would use more Cranberry Sauce next time and possibly less Ketchup. This recipe is great if you want a more "BBQ Sauce" taste.
Add a little heat
Very easy and delicious BBQ sauce recipe. Added a little ancho chili pepper and cayenne pepper powder for a little heat to soften the sweetness. Worked really well.
I enjoyed trying something new for a change.
I made it, and I loved it something new for a change, and it was very easy and delicious. I will make them again. Thank you ,Joann
The flavor is rich and delicious. Thankfully I doubled the recipe (for about 1 1/2 lbs of london broil for 4 people). The vinegar was just a little overpowering at first so I added about 2 - 3 Tbsp of extra ketchup and maple syrup, and about 1/2 cup of the beef broth/braising liquid from the london broil. This also helped to thin it a bit as it was very thick after simmering for so long. I'll definitely make it again.
