Always make this for Thanksgiving and Christmas
My family loves this recipe.
I make it every year and it is a great recipe to freeze. I put it in small containers and then I can thaw a small amount anytime through the year.
Goes well with all kinds of meat and is wonderful on sandwiches.
The BLT gains another initial!
You can call it what you like but this simple relish is great . Use a couple spoonfuls of this relish on an old favorite during the summer and it's heaven. Skip the mayo. Any way you use it you can now add a new initial to a " BLT" so it now becomes a "BCLT". It's great!
Turkey wouldn't be the same!
I have been making this since 70's. A staple, you will never go back to cooked cranberry sauce after trying this. The colour is fabulous.
A Special Part of Christmas
Remember this recipe since the 1940's; when my mom couldn't make it anymore, I gladly took over. I actually had cut the recipe from a bag and inserted it in my cookbook. It truly makes Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner a festive occasion. I am going to make more and freeze some and try a little boost of brandy. I even love it on tuna sandwiches and cottage cheese. Thank you Ocean Spray!
Family favorite and simple to make
This is a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner staple. We make extra and enjoy all week (if it lasts that long). I never use navel oranges (they become bitter if not eaten immediately). Also I've substituted tangerines for the orange and that's been a real plus....even more delicious. I always stay with the lesser amount of sugar and add to taste.
