Noodle Craisins Dried Cranberries Kugel
I have made this recipe as is and with the following changes:
omitted cheeses and sour cream and used crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges with the Craisins, used flour and some of the drained liquid to bind it and moisten it;
have omitted cheeses and sour cream and added fruit cocktail, along with a splash of lemon juice and splash of lime juice (drained fruit of liquid, of course but reserved some) and added some flour or matzah meal and some of the drained liquid.
When used as is, it makes a great dessert if served slightly warm with sherbet or scoop of ice cream with it.
Tastes great, too if omitting the nuts (allergies). Most people I serve it to prefer it without the nuts.
