“Come as you are” is the motto of unpretentious Aberdeen, Washington where generations of lumberjacks and seamen have imprinted this hardworking town with their relentless spirit.

Nestled at the most inland point of gorgeous Gray’s Harbor, Aberdeen rises at the confluence of the Wishkah and Chehalis Rivers which lead into the lush Northwest wilderness.  This strategically located riverfront city of under 20,000 is Washington State’s passageway to both the Pacific Ocean and scenic Olympic Peninsula.  In recent years, Aberdeen also gained fame as the birthplace of Seattle’s famous “grunge” style of music – led by homegrown rock legends, Kurt Cobain and Nirvana.

Just outside of town, in unincorporated Markham, is Ocean Spray’s Sweetened Dried Cranberry (SDCs) and Cranberry Sauce plant.  A major employer since 1946, Ocean Spray’s 17 acre, 206,000 square foot property, employs 145 union members and runs two production lines 24 hours a day, seven days a week with annual output of 20 million pounds of SDCs and 1.2 million cases of cranberry sauce.

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer /AAP/M/F/V/D.
