This Mother’s Day, do something for yourself and those you love: adopt healthy eating habits that give you energy for your busy day. It takes only 10 minutes to eat a nutritious breakfast with a member of the family - and your whole day will get off to a better start.

Craisins® Crunch Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Ocean Spray® Craisins® Original Sweetened Dried Cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat French vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat granola

Directions:

Divide the banana slices and sweetened dried cranberries between 2 small bowls; toss gently. Top each bowl with 1 tablespoon of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of granola.

Makes 2 servings.

Back in the 1880s, a New Jersey cranberry grower named John “Peg Leg” Webb accidentally “dribbled” a pail of cranberries down his barn steps – and discovered they bounce. To this day, cranberries are graded for quality using special “bounce boards.” Not unlike basketballs, pockets of air inside ripe cranberries give them “hang time.”
