Cranberries contain natural compounds called proanthocyanidins (PACs) which provide anti-stick and antioxidant power in one serving. While the anti-stick effect helps ward off urinary tract infections, stomach ulcers, and gum disease, cranberries also contain more antioxidants per gram than most other fruit. Diets rich in antioxidants are believed to help reduce the risk of chronic diseases including heart disease.
Cranberries not only provide a health snacking alternative, theyre also a key ingredient for your party fare.
