Holiday Ornaments

Cranberries are always at home on the Christmas tree. The kids will enjoy helping make these simply sensational decorations.

Cranberry Snowflake Ornament

Supplies:

24-gauge beading or floral wire
1" foam ball
1 12-oz. bag Ocean Spray® Fresh Cranberries
Hot glue gun/glue sticks
Silver or gold metallic craft beads with holes in center
Craft glue that will dry clear
Metallic glitter
1/2-inch wide decorative ribbon
Craft wire cutters and pliers

Directions:

Cut two 5" pieces and one 6" piece of wire. Push the pieces of wire through the foam ball, forming the spokes in a snowflake shape. Start by stringing cranberries onto the longer spoke of wire, leaving 1 1/4" at the end. Bend top wire into a simple hook for hanging. Continue stringing cranberries onto each spoke, leaving 1/4" free at the end. Using a hot glue gun, attach a metallic craft bead to the end of each wire spoke to secure berries in place.

Apply thin layer of craft glue to foam ball and sprinkle with metallic glitter. Let dry. Tie decorative ribbon at top of snowflake and hang with hook.

Cranberry Star Ornament

Supplies:

Hot glue gun/glue sticks
Raffia twine
4" or 5" wooden craft star
Craft glue that will dry clear
Metallic glitter
1 12-oz. bag Ocean Spray® Fresh Cranberries

Directions:

Using a hot glue gun, attach an 8"-9" length of raffia twine to backside of wooden star to form a loop for hanging. Brush front of star with craft glue, and sprinkle with metallic glitter. Let dry.

Using a hot glue gun, attach a single line of cranberries all around edges of star. Hang ornament from loop.

Cranberry Wreath Ornament

Supplies:

24-gauge beading or floral wire
1 12-oz. bag Ocean Spray® Fresh Cranberries
Silver or gold metallic craft beads with holes in center
1/2-inch wide decorative ribbon
Craft wire cutters and pliers

Directions:

Cut a 12" piece of wire. Bend one end of the piece of wire into a simple hook for hanging. String cranberries onto wire, alternating with beads in any desired pattern. Continue stringing cranberries and beads, leaving 1/4" free at end. Using pliers, bend end of wire under the base of hook to create a circle. Trim with decorative ribbon bow at top and hang with hook.
