yummy party meatballs
yes, don't cook om high in crock pot for four hours. I had them on high for an hour to help them thaw out...then turned it down to low for about 3-4 hours I also stirred them about every half hour to make sure the sauce continued to cover the meat balls. Also, I used the Italian flavored meatballs which to me, adds more flavor.
I tweaked it a little, but YUM! So good!
Great for work luncheons
I had never been a fan of grape jelly "party meatballs", but wanted something equally easy to prep and serve. THIS? This is the sweet/sour/tangy flavour I like for a meaty dish. It's sweet enough to appeal to someone expecting the traditional but still savory and delicious.
Always a big hit!
First, note that you cannot cook the meatballs on high for 4 hours! If you have the frozen meatballs, they are already cooked. When I'm in a BIG hurry, I put the two sauces in a large pan and heat until they are combined and bubbly. Then I add the frozen meatballs and continue to heat with the temp on low to medium. Once my meatballs are thawed, I put them in the crockpot just to keep them warm. The entire process takes 15 minutes and you're ready to take those meatballs to a party!
Make sure your sauce comes from Markham, Washington. Kenosha, Wisconsin does not know how to make sauce.
