In her role at Ocean Spray, Jane oversees all human resources related programs, which includes employee performance, benefits and compensation, diversity and talent recruitment, as well as the Cooperative Affairs division. “When you match the right person to the job, there’s nothing like it—it’s magic,” she says of one of her favorite parts of her position.
Joining the Ocean Spray Cooperative in 2003, she worked her way up through several rungs on the human resources ladder before assuming a Vice President role in 2012. During her tenure, she’s worked with senior leaders to identify and resolve human resources needs, including organizational design and development that improves the company’s effectiveness and business results. She’s been instrumental in helping make organizational changes and has contributed significantly to Ocean Spray’s talent management and executive development process.
“To support a really dynamic business, and work alongside so many intelligent, passionate employees—it’s amazing,” she says of her time here.
She’s particularly fond of the evolution and growth that she’s seen at Ocean Spray, and finds the company’s future bright. “I think the global expansion is exciting on so many levels,” she says. “It provides new opportunities for some employees to take on roles that may have not existed five or ten years ago, and continue their own personal development. From a business perspective, it gives us ways to grow our business and to really introduce the cranberry to people around the world.”
