Nutritional Information

6 dozen cookies

1 1/4 cups butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1 6-ounce package Ocean Spray® Craisins® Original Dried Cranberries, chopped

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the flour, a little at a time, until combined. Stir in dried cranberries.

Cookies can be made into balls or flattened. To make round cookies, roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place 1 dozen at a time on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 15 to 17 minutes. Remove from sheets; cool slightly and dust with additional powdered sugar.

To make flat cookies, form dough into 1-inch balls as directed above. Using the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar, flatten balls on cookie sheet, making rounds 2-inches in diameter. Bake 12 to 14 minutes. Cool.

Makes 6 dozen cookies.

The dough should be refrigerated after mixing all the ingredients at least an hour

Awesome easy but suggested yield is misleading...

I’ve made these cookies twice now following the exact measurements for the ingredients and not adding or subtracvting anything. First time I barely made two dozen - I guess my guesstimate of what an inch looks like was way off. Second time, I made much smaller cookies using a two tsp spoon as my scooper/guide, and I am just shy of four dozen this time. Still a delicious cookie though! And, I am not a baker yet the recipe is simple enough you’d never think I was such a novice at baking!

The recipe is super easy and delish but, like others, it definitely needs some modifications. To this recipe I added 1 tsp of vanilla, 2 tbsp of orange juice and the zest of an orange. It also doesn't need the full amount of the cranberries, I used a little more than half the bag. I made both balls and flats. The flats cook better.
