6 dozen cookies

1 1/4 cups butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1 6-ounce package Ocean Spray® Craisins® Blueberry Juice Infused Dried Cranberries


Preheat oven to 325°F.

Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Mix in the flour, a little at a time, until combined. Stir in dried cranberries.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Lightly grease the bottom of a drinking glass, then dip in granulated sugar. Gently flatten dough balls with the glass, making 2-inch rounds. Bake 12 to 14 minutes. Cool. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.

Makes 6 dozen cookies.

To make round cookies:

Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 15 to 17 minutes. Remove from sheets; cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.

Great for Christmas or anytime

These were an instant hit and the recipe really makes 60! I liked them better with regular Craisins and for Christmas, the red was better anyway. Didn't even need the powdered sugar. These are easy and taste like wonderful shortbread.
