- 2 cups Orange Juice
- 1 bottle red wine (light-bodied Spanish variety)
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 2 apples, chopped
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- Cinnamon sticks (optional)
Place the cinnamon sticks, apples, and orange slices in a large pitcher or drink dispenser. Add juice, wine and brandy (may need to adjust amounts per drink dispenser size). Allow to sit in the refrigerator for 6 - 24 hours.
Taste; if you'd like it to be sweeter, add 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar, honey, or agave.
Sangria is the perfect make-ahead cocktail, since it needs to sit, you can even make it a day in advance. This also leaves more time to impress your guests with presentation - add a cinnamon sugar rim or Cranberry Apple Garnishes to their glasses or at the drink station for them to add themselves.
