- 10 each Mint, fresh leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 ounces White rum
- Ice, as needed
- 2 ounces sparkling water
- Fresh mint leaves, garnish (optional)
- Fresh lime, sliced, garnish (optional)
Add the mint leaves, sugar and lime juice to the bottom of a highball glass. Muddle the mint and then top with the cranberry juice, rum and ice. Top with sparkling water while stirring everything together. Garnish with the fresh mint, cranberries, and lime and serve with a straw.
Optional/Chef’s Tip: For an extra bite, muddle a few fresh cranberries along with the mint.
