Cranberry Chutney


2 1/2 cups

1 14-ounce can Ocean Spray® Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup peeled, diced apple

1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons vinegar

1/8 teaspoon allspice

1/8 teaspoon ginger

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

dash ground cloves


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and sauce has thickened slightly, about 30 minutes.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

I found this recipe years ago and it has been a staple on my Thanksgiving table ever since. It's perfect!

My father made this for Thanksgiving the last two years. The next day I had some over cottage cheese for breakfast, on toast with cream cheese and just about any way I could think of. I am making this for my husband on a regular basis

I made this for the first time for a bridal party as a side dish for turkey sliders and it was a huge success! Based on reviewer comments I added the zest from 1/2 orange that was a great addition. I was amazed at how many people told me how much they loved it! I made it for my family the next day and it turns a roasted turkey sandwich into a real gourmet treat. Next time I will try adding 1/2 cup pecans and 1/2 cup crushed pineapple that previous reviewers also recommended. Should be terrific with pork tenderloin, grilled chicken breast and maybe salmon! Will check it out in the coming days!!!
