2 1/4 cups

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 12-ounce package Ocean Spray® Fresh or Frozen Cranberries, rinsed and drained

Directions

Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil; add cranberries, return to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving time.

Makes 2 1/4 cups.

This recipe is so easy and it makes the best cranberry sauce ever. Used to buy Ocean Spray canned, but not since I started making my own and everybody just loves it.

This is fabulous! Another good version is to replace the water with grape juice and cut the sugar in half. Finish with the juice of one small lime and lime zest.

This recipe is so simple, yet delicious. I have been making it for years. It always comes out right. If you want to change the flavor profile a little, through in a cinnamon stick (remember to remove it after cooking) or some orange peel or my favorite - walnuts.

So easy and works every time
