Ingredients

- Brown sugar1/2 cup
- Sugar1/4 cup

- Milk1 1/4 cups

- Almond extract2 teaspoons
- Craisins® Dried Cranberries Cherry Juice Infused1 6-ounce package
- Sweetened dried cranberries
- Almonds1/3 cup
- Sugar
Steps
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Grease or paper line a 12 cup muffin tin. Combine flour, both sugars, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Combine milk, oil, egg and almond extract in a separate mixing bowl. Add liquid ingredients to dry, stirring just until dry ingredients are moist. Stir in cherry flavor dried cranberries. Fill muffin cups 3/4 of the way full with batter. Sprinkle tops of muffins with almonds and sugar. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes in the pan; remove and cool completely on a wire rack. Makes 12 muffins.
