    Ingredients

    • Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce2 14-ounce cans
    • Peeled, chopped apples3 cups
    • Brown sugar1/2 cup
    • Cinnamon1 teaspoon
    • Ginger1/2 teaspoon
    • Nutmeg1/2 teaspoon

    Steps

    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook on low heat for 1 1/2 hours or until thick, stirring occasionally. Push through a wire mesh strainer or put through a food mill. Store in a tightly covered non-metal container. Serve with bagels, muffins or breads. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
