Cranberry Buttermilk Soda Bread

Ingredients
- Flour2 1/4 cups
- Sugar1/3 cup
- Baking powder1/2 teaspoon
- Baking soda1/2 teaspoon
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Butter or margarine6 tablespoons
- Buttermilk3/4 cup
- Sour cream1/4 cup
- Egg1
- Craisins® Original Dried Cranberries1 cup
- Caraway seeds1 tablespoon
Steps
Grease a 9-inch round cake pan. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Sift the dry ingredients into a medium mixing bowl. Work butter or margarine into dry ingredients until the butter is the size of small peas, using a pastry blender or fork. Combine remaining ingredients in a separate medium mixing bowl. Add to dry ingredients, mixing just until dry ingredients are moist. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Makes 1 bread.
