Ingredients

  • Oil1 tablespoon
  • Diced green pepper1 cup
  • Diced onion1/2 cup
  • Ground beef2 pounds
  • Ground turkey or chicken1 pound
  • Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce1 14-ounce can
  • reserving 1 cup
  • Seasoned bread crumbs1 cup
  • Dijon mustard2 tablespoons
  • Egg1 beaten
  • Black pepper1 teaspoon
  • Salt1 teaspoon
  • Dash marjoram
  • Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

Steps

Preheat oven to 350º. Heat oil in a medium non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add green pepper and onion. Cook until tender and translucent. Set aside. Combine pepper, onion and remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well by hand. Place in a 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan. Top with reserved cranberry sauce. Bake for 1 hour. Makes 10 servings.
