Ingredients

  • For the Spicy Cranberry Spread
  • Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce1/4 cup
  • Frank’s RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Hot Sauce1-2 Tablespoons
  • For the Sandwich
  • Ciabatta or foccacia rolls or 4 thick slices italian bread1
  • Fresh spinach1/4 cup
  • Sliced turkey4 ounces
  • 1-ounce slices monterey jack or pepper jack cheese1-2
  • Olive oil1 1/2 teaspoons
  • French’s® Crispy Fried Onions1/4 cup

    Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

Steps

Mix Cranberry Sauce and RedHot® Sauce in small bowl until well blended. ​

Spread cut sides of roll (or one side of each slice of bread) with RedHot® Cranberry Sauce mixture. Place 1/4 cup spinach, French’s® Crispy Fried Onions, 4 ounces of turkey and a slice of cheese on bottom half of roll. Place the top half of the roll back on top and press slightly together. Brush top and bottom of sandwich with olive oil. ​

Heat sandwiches in panini press according to manufacturer's directions. Cut in half to serve.​

No Panini Press? Place sandwich in large skillet on medium heat. Place a heavy pan or burger press on top of sandwich. Cook about 5 minutes per side, or until sandwich bread is toasted and heated through. ​

​Makes 1 Sandwich.​

Chef's Tip

To make a Spicy Cranberry Aioli, add 1 to 2 tbsp. mayonnaise and 1 tsp. garlic powder to RedHot® Cranberry Sauce mixture, whisking until well blended and smooth. Use as a spread for Panini.​
