- Medium apples4 diced
- Medium onion1 diced
- Garlic cloves4 finely chopped
- Finely chopped fresh ginger root2 tablespoons
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Grated orange peel1/4 teaspoon

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally, about 40 minutes or until apples are tender and sauce has thickened slightly.
